“Fad Saoil Saunas, welcome to Ireland’s new pub”
Steve Crosbie, CEO & Founder
Heat in a sauna helps regulate cortisol in our blood. It reduces the level of cortisol and instead stimulates the production of serotonin (happy hormone).
The sauna produces a higher level of Red Blood Cells (RBCs) through hormesis. Higher level of RBCs results in better transport of oxygen.
By simulating the skin and underlying tissues of our body with heat through sauna, it can activate serotonin releasing cells in the brain.
Sitting in a sauna (over 80C) 4-7 times per week can decrease your risk of any all-cause mortality in the next 12 months by 40%+.
HSPs are produced when your cells are exposed to a hot environment. HSPs help protect your cells structure, making them more robust.
HGH helps with muscle growth and protects bone mass, sauna use has been shown to increase HGH production by 4 – 16 x depending on the protocol
Sauna use can also stimulate increased levels of blood flow through vasodilation, allowing the brain to have a healthy supply of oxygenated blood to function properly.
Studies found that there was a significant reduction in anxiety, improved stress relief, and mood enhancement after just one visit to the sauna
Steve and the team are fantastic. All the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Great chats, hot sauna and all located next to an ideal swimming area. Personally best way to approach it is 15 minutes sauna, dip in the sea and finish the remainder of your session in the heat and always finish with one last dip
A great place. Sauna can be very hot be prepared over 90° today. We did two 15 minute sessions with dips in the sea in between. Right close to the sea, coffee shop with food right beside for a chat after. Lovely spot we could do with more of these around the coast.
Visited the new location in Greystones on Sunday. Stunning location, easy access to dip and the new sauna setup is gorgeous. The lads are super friendly, professional and are providing an experience that should be on everyone’s bucket list of fun days out.
Went for a swim and sauna on the seafront in Bray today and I am a new woman after it, all of the aches from the gym are gone and am so refreshed and revitalised. Would highly recommend! I would definitely go every week given the opportunity!
I had the pleasure to try out the sauna on the beach in Bray today. It was AMAZING! The reception was very warm (!), the 2 guys, running it, gave me some great info on how to get the best experience, the view from the Sauna was amazing, the heat was perfect. The location was second to none, as the sea was only a few steps away. It would be amazing if this could be a permanent feature at Bray beach.
Cannot begin to describe the positive impact that this sauna will have for the local area. An experience like no other, and even better service, by the nicest group you’re likely to meet; Greystones is lucky to have them!
