Fad Saoil Saunas Announces Exciting Opening of New Blackrock Location

Fad Saoil Saunas, Ireland’s first professional mobile sauna service and one of Ireland’s leading wellness brands, is delighted to announce the upcoming opening of its newest facility in Blackrock, County Dublin, in early December. Located at Rockhill Terrace in the heartbeat of the village and just minutes from the beautiful seafront and Dart station, the new venue reflects Fad Saoil Sauna’s commitment to combining nature, community, and social wellness in one premium experience.
The new Fad Saoil Saunas location will feature two wood fired saunas, one being named “The Pub” and the other is a “Cúnas” sauna (as there is rarely a silent sauna in Ireland) but it is a more restorative sauna environment, accompanied with a state-of-the-art ice bath, changing rooms, rehydration stations, toilet and an unmatched atmosphere. The experience is designed to feel open, social, and restorative, connecting people within the community and afar, as we don’t often get a chance to in our modern day society. Guests can enjoy a seamless, releasing, relaxing and rejuvenating experience in a warm and social setting.
Sauna culture has seen a major revival in Ireland in recent years, driven by sea swimmers, wellness enthusiasts, and a growing appreciation for mindful, outdoor experiences. Celebrating six years in operation, Fad Saoil Saunas has become more than a sauna – it’s a place to meet, unwind, and share rituals with friends, family, and the wider community. Already operating successful locations in Greystones, Clontarf, Rathmines, and Naas, Fad Saoil has selected Blackrock for its unique blend of natural coastal surroundings and vibrant local community, as well as marking its return to the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown area where it first began in 2019.
Fad Saoil Saunas has always been about more than heat and cold; it’s about people, connection, and lifestyle. From its first seafront sauna to this new village-centre setting, the brand’s mission has remained constant, helping people release, relax, and recover in spaces that feel like a luxurious escape from daily life.
Steve Crosbie, CEO and founder of Fad Saoil Saunas, said today “We’re beyond excited to open in the heart of Blackrock, right where a sauna belongs, at the centre of the village, connecting people, ritual, and recovery in the open air. To us, the sauna isn’t just a space to heat up and cool down, it’s a place to slow down. Bringing that energy to Blackrock feels like coming home”.
As the colder months and festive season approach, Fad Saoil Saunas has become a go-to ritual for relaxation, connection, and self-care, acting as a natural antidote to the winter chill.
