Take Back Our Time

Time.
It’s the most precious thing we’ve got — and yet, we fling it away like used scratch cards. We book back-to-back meetings, forget to eat lunch, and call collapsing on the couch with a phone in our hand “rest.”
At Fad Saoil, we’re here to call time on that nonsense.

This is your call to slow down, sweat it out, and Take Back Your Time — properly.

☘️ We’re not selling saunas. We’re selling moments.

We’re selling that feeling when you finally exhale.
When you sit in silence and realise your brain has stopped running laps.
When the only to-do list is:
1. Sit down
2. Shut up
3. Sweat
Because rest isn’t a reward — it’s a right. And here in Ireland, it’s long past due that we stop calling it a treat and start calling it what it is:
a power move.

🔥 A Word from the Founder

Take it from someone who chased the dream, got the dream, and found himself standing in the middle of it thinking:
”Wait… is this it?”

I’ve lived the burnout. I’ve felt the guilt of switching off. I’ve sacrificed more hours than I care to count — and all for what? To realise that presence was the real win all along.

That’s what this movement is about.
Fad Saoil Saunas isn’t just here to give you a good sweat.
We’re here to shift culture — one session, one story, one quiet moment at a time.

☕ Coffee, Saunas & The Irish Guilt Complex

So there I was, sipping a long black with my cousin in London (yes — long black, because we’re cultured now) and she tells me she accidentally started drinking her coffee without milk.
Why? Because she said yes in an interview once and didn’t want to seem fussy.
Got the job. Now she loves the taste.
Mad, right?
But it hit me: that’s how people discover saunas too.
By accident. Through a friend. As a recovery hack. A bucket list tick.
But then they feel it.
The peace.
The reset.
The stillness.
And suddenly it’s not a treat anymore — it’s a need.

❄️ Guilt is Grand... Until It Isn’t

Here in Ireland, we’ve a habit of wrapping guilt in humour.
“I’ll treat myself to a sauna.”
“I’ll be bold now and take the evening off.”
God forbid we actually enjoy something without issuing a disclaimer.
Here’s the problem:
If you think sauna is a treat, you’ll never build the habit.
If you think rest is indulgent, you’ll never claim it.

So we’re asking you to do the hardest thing in the world for an Irish person:
Prioritise yourself without apologising for it. We’ll even let you pretend it’s for the “recovery” if that helps.

🔥 Welcome to the “Hotter the Better” Craze

Right now, we’re in the thick of it. The “hotter the better” era.
People are queueing for the löyly like it’s a ticket to Electric Picnic.
We’re seeing 100°C on the dial and asking, “Go again?”

And you know what? It’s beautiful.
The buzz. The bravery. The community of it all.

But soon, we’ll move into the next chapter — and that’s where the magic happens.

🌊 From Heat to Healing

The future of sauna in Ireland isn’t about how long you stay in, or how many rounds you do, or who lasted longest without flinching. It’s about the why.
* Why do I keep coming back?
* Why do I feel calmer, lighter, more grounded?
* Why do I feel more me when I leave than when I arrived?

That’s what we’re interested in at Fad Saoil.
Helping you ask better questions.
Helping you connect the dots.
Helping you take your time — and own it.

🪵 The Fad Saoil Way

* Wood-burning stoves. Because the old ways are the best ways.
* Cold plunges. Because Ireland’s sea was made for it (and the craic).
* Community benches. Because we all need a place to sit and sweat our heads straight.
